Wandsworth is one of London’s inner-city boroughs, with a population of just over 300,000. The borough contains three parliamentary constituencies, being Battersea, Putney and Tooting, and covers part of many postcodes including SW4, SW8, SW11, SW12, SW15, SW16, SW17, SW18 and SW19. Local areas include Balham, Battersea, Earlsfield, Furzedown, Nine Elms, Putney, Putney Heath, Putney Vale, Roehampton, Southfields, Streatham Park, Tooting, Tooting Bec, Upper Tooting, Wandsworth and West Hill.
Wandsworth is known for it’s open park and spaces, such as Battersea Park, Wandsworth Common and Tooting Common. There is also plenty of entertainment in the areas with the Battersea Art Centre and Putney Arts Centre, plus multiple shops, restaurants and pubs. The area even has its own local Wandsworth Radio.
